Minnesota Man Sentenced For Capitol Riot Calls For “Accountability”

(Minneapolis, MN) — A Minnesota man is getting a prison sentence for assaulting officers during the Capitol riot. A federal judge on Thursday handed 44-year-old Brian Mock a sentence of 33 months in federal prison, and was given credit for one year he’s already served behind bars. During his sentencing hearing, Mock called for “accountability” for politicians who told lies about the 2020 election. Mock said he heard the “same thing over and over again” from politicians who claimed there was fraud during the presidential election, and that none of those politicians have come forward to apologize since the riot.
