Minnesota Murder Suspect Arrested In California

(Pine Point, MN) — A man wanted for a murder in Minnesota has been arrested in California. Michael Croud was wanted in connection with the murder of David Hanks Jr, who was found shot to death last month outside a vehicle in Pine Point. Prior to the deadly shooting, Croud was already a fugitive from justice for failing to check in with his supervisor following his recent release from prison. On Tuesday, the Minnesota Department of Corrections learned that Croud was taken into custody in Los Angeles. He is currently in the process of being extradited back to Minnesota.
