Minnesota To Get $62M For Solar Projects

(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota is getting 62-million dollars from the federal government to help fund solar energy projects. The grant is one of 60 that were announced this week by the EPA as part of the “Solar for All” program. The grants will look to increase rooftop solar in Minnesota, especially among low-income households. The state wants to be using 100-percent carbon-free electricity by 2040.
