Minnesota To Give $1500 E-Bike Rebates

(St. Paul, MN) — The state of Minnesota will start giving up to two-million dollars worth of rebates for e-bike customers in the next two years. The state will give rebates of up to 75-percent of the price of an e-bike with a maximum of 15-hundred dollars — depending on the income bracket. Minnesota is looking to lower the state’s carbon footprint and views e-bikes as a way to encourage residents to produce less emissions. The cost of an e-bike is a barrier, as the product can cost between under two-thousand dollars to five-thousand.
