(Morris, MN) — A 22-year-old student from western Minnesota will be heading to Orlando this weekend to be part of the Miss America pageant. Angelina Amerigo was crowned Miss Minnesota last summer. She currently attends Minnesota State University-Moorhead and wants to reduce the use of plastic bags, bottles and other plastic materials that can harm the environment. The Miss America pageant will start Saturday and run through January 14th.
