MN DOC Asking For $1M For Fugitive Apprehension Unit

(Undated) — The Minnesota Department of Corrections is asking the legislature for one-million dollars to help staff the fugitive apprehension unit. Hundreds of Minnesota criminals are on the run, but the unit has just 13 people tracking people down. The DOC says they receive more than 200 new arrest warrants monthly.
