MN Federal Judge Confirms $5M Award Against MyPillow CEO Lindell

(St. Paul, MN) — A federal judge in Minnesota says MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell must pay five-million dollars to a man who won a case over the 2020 presidential election. The judge ruled this week that the arbitration panel’s ruling awarding the money to Robert Zeidman would stand despite a poorly written contract. Lindell had sponsored a challenge offering the money to anyone who proved that data he was offering about the 2020 election was illegitimate. Zeidman took on the challenge, providing a 15-page document that showed the data wasn’t valid. Though he lost the challenge initially, arbitrators later ruled that Zeidman had met the conditions of the contest. Lindell plans to appeal the court ruling.
