MN Man Charged For Shooting His Brother

(Virginia, MN) — A man who allegedly shot his brother in the small city of Virginia is facing criminal charges. Over the weekend, officers were called to a home along Ninth Street, where officers learned that Robert Cope had shot his brother in the head. Cope was arrested, and police found his brother laying on the floor inside the home with blood around his head. While police were transporting Cope, he reportedly told an officer “I woke up from a dream and was told to shoot my brother”. He’s facing multiple felony charges, including second-degree attempted murder.
