MN Rep Dean Phillips Files For Presidential Run

(Concord, NH) — Minnesota Congressman Dean Phillips is officially running for president. The Democrat filed paperwork this morning to run in New Hampshire’s primary election, according to the New Hampshire Secretary of State’s office. Phillips announced his bid for the presidency yesterday, saying Biden has “done a spectacular job for our country” but the data shows Democrats will be “facing an emergency next November.” He also argued Biden would be a weak Democratic candidate due to his age and falling approval ratings. Phillips recently left his House leadership position over Democrats’ support of Biden’s re-election bid.
