Montana Passes Bill Banning TikTok

(Helena, MT) — Montana has become the first state to pass a bill banning TikTok on personal devices. The bill makes it illegal for app stores to allow the option to download the social media app, as well as banning the company from operating in Montana. It doesn’t make having the app illegal for those who already use it. The bill now heads to the desk of Republican Governor Greg Gianforte, who is expected to sign it.
