Moorhead Man Dies After Collision Between Vehicle, Train

(Cass County, MN) — A Moorhead man is dead after his vehicle was hit by a train. The collision happened yesterday afternoon on Highway 210 in Cass County. Minnesota State Patrol says a Burlington Northern train encountered the vehicle at West Gull River Road Southwest. Authorities say the vehicle was on the tracks when it was struck by the train. Officials say 53-year-old Lance Beachem died at the scene.
