More Anti-Abortion Bills Signed By Gianforte

(Helena, MT) — Governor Greg Gianforte is signing another series of bills he says will “protect the lives of unborn babies in Montana.” The governor’s office announced yesterday Gianforte’s signature was put on four more bills designed to restrict abortion in the state. One of those measures bans what’s called dismemberment abortions in most cases. Two of the other bills aim to keep taxpayer dollars from being used for elective abortions. Gianforte argued leaders were elected to defend life in the legislature and not send taxpayer money to abortion clinics.
