(St. Paul, MN) — The National Weather Service is predicting a fairly normal Minnesota winter. The agency released its winter forecast yesterday and said much of the state should experience wetter-than-average conditions. Some parts of Minnesota will also see cooler-than-normal temperatures, a recipe that could lead to an increased amount of snow. The Twin Cities area received just under 30-inches of snow last year, while snowfall during an average year is around 54-inches.
