Ocheyedan River Drying Up Once More

(Osceola County, IA) — Part of the Ocheyedan River is drying up again, for the fifth time in eight years. Osceola County, in far Northwest Iowa, gets its drinking water from the river and is forced to cut back and pull water from other wells to make up for the dry river. The region has had some of the worst drought conditions in the state for more than a year.
