(Mankato, MN) — Defense attorneys claim investigators looking into Madeline Kingsbury’s death ignored other suspects to focus solely on Adam Fravel. Attorneys presented their opening arguments in Fravel’s murder trial yesterday in Mankato. Prosecutors accused Fravel of having an abusive relationship with Kingsbury and noted that objects found with her body were removed from the home they shared in Winona. The defense claims police had tunnel vision and went to great lengths to portray Fravel as their prime suspect. Several witnesses testified for the prosecution yesterday and more will do so today.
