(Helena, MT) — There’s no longer a temporary restraining order against Montana Senate President Jason Ellsworth. The request was withdrawn yesterday by his former fiancee, Lindsey Murolo, who originally seeked the measure back in May. The Montana Free Press reports Murolo, who lives in Lewis and Clark County, accused Ellsworth of assaulting her and threatening her with a gun last October. He allegedly also sent communication to her despite Murolo’s request for him not to. In a statement, Ellsworth said the allegations against him aren’t true and he hasn’t been abusive.
