(Minneapolis, MN) — University of Minnesota officials are set to begin the interview process for the three finalists in their search for a new system president. Cleveland State University president Laura Bloomberg, University of Michigan vice president Rebecca Cunningham and University of New Mexico provost James Holloway were named finalists by the Board of Regents on Friday. Starting today, each candidate will begin a tour of campuses in the university system to answer questions at public forums. The three candidates are hoping to replace former president Joan Gabel, who left last summer to become chancellor of the University of Pittsburgh.
