Rainfall Helps Reduce Drought In Minnesota

(Undated) — Drought conditions are improving in Minnesota. The latest U.S. Drought Monitor maps released yesterday show that much of central and southern Minnesota is either free of drought or in the abnormally dry category, the lowest level of measurable drought. Much of the northern part of the state is experiencing moderate to severe drought, but those numbers have declined since last week. No part of the state is currently considered in extreme or exceptional drought.
