(Helena, MT) — Matt Rosendale is going to try and hold on to his seat in the House of Representatives. The Montana Republican has not formally announced his campaign for Congress, but filed paperwork Saturday to run for the Eastern District. Rosendale’s campaign for the U.S. Senate lasted less than a week after announcing Thursday he was no longer running against Democratic incumbent Jon Tester. Rosendale said through his campaign that he had to “calculate” what his chances might be after Trump endorsed his primary opponent Tim Sheehy. Now, several Republican candidates have filed to run for Rosendale’s seat in the House.
