(Jordan, MN) — A Scott County teen is facing a charge of criminal vehicular homicide after a deadly crash killed one of his passengers last year. Prosecutors announced the charge against 18-year-old Juan Perez of Jordan last week. Perez was reportedly driving a Jeep without a license last May when he lost control of the vehicle and it overturned in a ditch. Sixteen-year-old Ben Camacho was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene. One of the other passengers in the Jeep claim Perez was drifting the vehicle when the deadly crash happened.
