(St. Cloud, MN) — The outgoing president of St. Cloud State University is stepping down about two months ahead of schedule. Robbyn Wacker was scheduled to leave her position on June 30th, but will instead be replaced by acting president Larry Lee this Sunday. The university is dealing with potential budget cuts and Wacker has reportedly said those decisions should be made by administrators who will be on campus after she leaves. Larry Dietz will take over as interim president of the university on July 1st.
