(Fargo, ND) — A Stearns County woman is facing a term in federal prison after pleading guilty to drug trafficking charges. Deanna Gerads of Freeport entered her plea yesterday in U.S. District Court in Fargo, North Dakota. Investigators say Gerads was part of a group that distributed meth in North Dakota and Minnesota in 2021 and 2022. She had been a fugitive for over a year when she was captured in Mexico last year. She will be sentenced in July.
