Storms Bring Damaging Hail To Minnesota

(Marcell, MN) — Another round of severe thunderstorms brought considerable impacts to northern Minnesota on Thursday. The most notable aspect of the storms was the large, destructive hail they produced. Large hailstones were reported in areas such as Marcell, Bowstring, Sturgeon Lake, and other locations. Some of the most destructive hail impacted Little Jessie Lake, where homes and cars had windows shattered. Minnesota residents posted photos of hailstones and dark ominous clouds to social media after the storms blew through.
