SUV Found Submerged In Mankato

(Mankato, MN) — The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after an SUV was found in a Mankato pond. The 2020 GMC Acadia was discovered in Hiniker Pond on Saturday morning. Investigators say it was located about 12 feet underwater about 60 yards from shore. The sheriff’s office says the vehicle appears to have been intentionally submerged, though no injuries were reported.
