Teen Killed In Single-Car Wreck In Rock Valley, Iowa

(Rock Valley, IA) — A teenager is dead after a single-car wreck in Rock Valley, Iowa. The accident happened over the weekend, about ten miles east of Fairview. Police say 18-year-old Walter Wynia lost control of his Subaru, struck a tree, and then a house. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A juvenile passenger was not badly hurt. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
