(Minneapolis, MN) — The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota is confirming its first bird flu case since January. Center officials say the adult female red-tailed haw was admitted to its hospital on March 25th. Officials say the bird died overnight and a test later came back positive for bird flu. The Raptor Center cared for more than 200 birds with the virus last year, with only one surviving.
