UNL Proposes $12M In Budget Cuts

(Lincoln, NE) — The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is looking to cut another 12 million dollars in the budget after they cut nearly 11 million dollars in June. Chancellor Rodney Bennett says the proposal closes its budget deficit by reorganizing departments, reducing administrative stipends, operation cuts, and more. Bennett says departments need to find ways to save funding as this round of cuts is likely to not be the last.
