Update On Train Derailment in NW Minnesota

(Lancaster, MN) — An investigation is underway after a train carrying hazardous materials derailed in northwestern Minnesota. It happened yesterday afternoon near Lancaster, about ten miles south of the Canadian border. Some of the cars contained an unspecified flammable liquid, but there are no leaks, according to the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway. No one was injured. It’s unclear what caused the derailment.
