Walz To Mark Water Quality Program Milestone At Altura Farm

(Altura, MN) — Governor Walz will be at a farm in Altura today to talk about a milestone for the state’s Agricultural Water Quality Program. Over one-million acres of farmland have been enrolled in the program, exceeding the goal the governor set in 2020. The voluntary program is designed to help farmers use conservation to protect the state’s water resources. The governor is also expected to discuss other state agriculture investments during this morning’s visit.
