(Minneapolis, MN) — This winter’s unusually warm weather has led to the cancellation of more events and activities in Minnesota. Organizers of the annual Vasaloppet USA cross-country ski race in Mora announced its cancellation yesterday. The event was scheduled to happen a week from tomorrow, but organizers said the seven-kilometer trail of manmade snow had deteriorated too much for the race to take place. The Art Shanty Project on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis also announced yesterday that it will shut down due to the warm weather.
