SBOR Expands Advantage Rate To Three States

(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota Board of Regents is green-lighting the expansion of in-state tuition rates to three other states. The decision was made in the Board’s Thursday meeting to make Kansas, Missouri, and Minnesota part of the state’s Advantage rate program. They join all of South Dakota’s neighbors as well as Colorado, Illinois, and Wisconsin for a total of 11 states. The expansion comes as the number of higher education students nationwide is expected to drop in the coming years as the Board tries to plan ahead and keep enrollment high.
