2 Teens Killed In Weekend Crash Identified By Sioux Falls Police

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Sioux Falls Police have identified the two teenagers who were killed in crash in central Sioux Falls over the weekend. Lieutenant Andrew Siebenborn says the two victims are 15-year-old Milana Marie Reeves and 15-year-old Eric James Hopkins. He also says the other passengers included a 13-year-old, 14-year-old, 15-year-old and two 17-year-olds. They all suffered a range of injuries from critical to serious. The crash happened early Saturday morning at East 18th and Sound 2nd Avenue and the lieutenant confirmed that speed played a role. The department has also been communicating with the Minnehaha County State’s Attorney and they are prepared to file charges “if the investigation finds that it is warranted.”
