(Sioux Falls, SD) — Thirteen child-care related businesses in South Dakota will split a three-point-seven million dollar grant. That’s according to the South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development. The grant is a part of Governor Noem’s Investment Plan for Child Care and she says the funding will create more child care options and openings across the state. The state’s goal is improve the child care workforce by creating partnerships among community leaders and child care providers.
