$50,000 Grant Opportunity For Black Residents In South Dakota, Minnesota And North Dakota

(Pierre, SD) — Black residents in South Dakota, Minnesota and North Dakota will be able to apply to receive a 50-thousand-dollar grant. The Bush Foundation is opening up applications for part of a 50-million-dollar trust. This nonprofit organization has worked to tackle Black wealth, homeownership, and education rate gaps with grants. Nexus Community Partners Senior Director Danielle Mkali says they are helping distribute a hundred grants at random yearly over the next eight years. Anyone can apply as long as they meet the application criteria. There will be no income limit or merit consideration, and people can apply each year.
