75-Year Sentence In Shooting Death Of Myron Pourier

(Rapid City, SD) — A Rapid City man is going to be behind bars for 75 years for the shooting death of Myron Pourier. Quincy Bear Robe shot Pourier at the Grand Gateway Hotel in March of 2022. Bear Robe pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of first-degree manslaughter in October and has accepted the terms of a plea agreement, according to the Pennington County State’s Attorney’s Office. The sentence exceeded the state’s recommendation after Senior Deputy State’s Attorney Rachel Lindsay argued for a more severe punishment because of Bear Robe’s lack of remorse.
