(Aberdeen, SD) — Aberdeen has blasted through its snow removal budget for the year. Ryan Luek with the National Weather Service tells “Dakota News Now” the past winter was one of the top ten for snowfall in the city. The season ended with just over 74 inches of snow. The budget set for the 2023 calendar year was about 171-thousand dollars. Aberdeen has just 30-thousand dollar left for the year. The city may have to resort to supplemental funds if the weather is bad in this upcoming fall.
