Absentee Voting For South Dakota Primary Underway

(Rapid City, SD) — Absentee voting is now underway for the South Dakota primary, which is less than two months away. This form of voting is recommended for people who won’t be able to vote at a polling place on election day. If you need to send in an absentee vote, you’ll have to contact your county’s auditor to request a ballot application. You’ll also have to contact your county’s auditor if you plan to absentee vote in person. Completed ballots have to be dropped off at the auditor’s office no later than 6 p.m. on Monday, June 3rd. Election Day is June 4th.
