(Box Elder, SD) — An Amazon distribution center is coming to Western South Dakota. The company broke ground on the facility in Box Elder yesterday. The location was selected by Amazon officials because it’s straight down I-90 from Sioux Falls and also the proximity to the Black Hills. It’s expected to be completed within the next 12 months and bring more than a hundred new job opportunities.
