(Aberdeen, SD) — Aberdeen police have a suspect in custody who was involved in a hit-and-run that hurt two boys, sending one to the hospital. The person is expected to be charged with hit-and-run resulting in injury, which is a felony. A search warrant was executed on the vehicle Tuesday morning identified in nearby surveillance video leading to the arrest. The two boys were on bikes in the crosswalk at the intersection of 6th Avenue Southeast and State Street Friday night. The one hospitalized was released and is now at home, according to officials. Police say more information will be released today.
