Attorney General Jackley Announces Settlement With Johnson & Johnson

(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says the state will get three-point-six-million-dollars in a settlement with Johnson & Johnson over the marketing of baby powder and body powder products that contained talc. Forty-three attorneys general reached the settlement with the company for 700-million dollars. The money will be used by the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division for ongoing consumer protection investigations, enforcement, and consumer education.
