Authorities Rule Out Foul Play After Body Found Near Harrisburg

(Harrisburg, SD) — No foul play is suspected involving the body of a man that was found in a vehicle Tuesday, according to South Dakota General Mary Jackley. There is also no threat to the public. A body was found in a white car near the intersection of 477th Avenue and 275th Street southeast of Harrisburg. Authorities say the case is being treated as an unattended death. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation along with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
