Backpack, School Supply Giveaway Saturday

(Sioux Falls, SD) — There’s a new backpack and school supply giveaway event happening Saturday in Sioux Falls. The event is from 9 a.m. to noon at the Hy-Vee Parking Lot at 3020 East 10th Street. It’s led by Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children and aims to give free items to kids who need them to get ready to go back to school. There will also be members of the National Guard, a fire truck, games for prizes and more. The event is still taking donations so organizers can give out as many supplies as possible.
