‘Beef It Up, South Dakota’ Campaign

(Sioux Falls, SD) — There’s a new campaign to help South Dakota families get the protein they need. It’s called ‘Beef it Up, South Dakota,’ happening right now during National Beef Month. Feeding South Dakota has partnered with the South Dakota Cattleman’s Foundation and the South Dakota Beef Industry Council to provide meat for families struggling to access nutritious meals. Feeding South Dakota this month is by eating out at local restaurants listed on their website in Sioux Falls and Rapid City. People are also encouraged to donate their own money, which will be matched. Beef can also be donated to Feeding South Dakota, but it has to be processed through certified companies.
