BHSU to Host 38th Annual Wacipi

Spearfish, SD) — Black Hills State University is set to host the annual Lakota Omniciye Wacipi. The event will be held Saturday during American Indian Awareness Week at the Center for American Indian Studies. Indigenous dancers, singers, and drummers from across the state will perform at the celebration of South Dakota’s rich cultural heritage. This is the 38th year for this event.
