(Sioux Falls, SD) — Officials are expecting another big turnout for this year’s Parade of Lights in Sioux Falls tonight. The parade starts at 7:30 p.m. and runs along Philips Avenue from 13th Street to 5th. It was estimated that around 53-thousand people attended last year. That’s about the entire populations of Mitchell, Yankton, Huron and Tea combined. The route runs eight blocks, which would mean Sioux Falls could close in on having seven-thousand people per block if the parade draws a similar crowd again this year.
