(Minnehaha County, SD) — An investigation is underway for a suspicious object that was reported in Minnehaha County on Thursday. The Sioux Falls bomb squad and hazmat team responded to the area of North Minnesota Avenue and West Algonquin Street. Authorities say the object was originally found over five miles north of Sioux Falls, near 84th Street and Ditch Road in rural Minnehaha County. A resident reportedly found it and brought it closer. Officials deemed it non-hazardous to the public.
