Bond Revoked For Rapid City Man Accused Of Planning Woman’s Murder

(Rapid City, SD) — A Rapid City man is losing his privileges for a bond while facing charges for orchestrating a woman’s murder. Ezekiel Mayweather was arrested last week in connection to the shooting death of 25-year-old Esther Wolfe. The man initially had a bond set at 50-thousand dollars. However, the Pennington County State’s Attorney’s Office asked a judge to revoke it because of findings that Mayweather’s involvement in Wolfe’s death is far more extensive than initially thought. According to a release from the state’s attorney’s office, investigator findings show that Mayweather allegedly organized Wolfe’s killing, provided the gun used, and directed another person to shoot her. So far, no other suspects have been arrested in the case.
