Brandon Make-A-Wish Kid Embarks On Special Trip

(Brandon, SD) — A 12-year-old Brandon boy and his family are off to Disney World for the trip of a lifetime. Spencer Thorsland is embarking on his Make-A-Wish trip after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. He and his family were picked up in a limo early Sunday morning for their flight to Florida. Spencer’s Disney trip was originally scheduled for December but was moved up to this week for Thanksgiving.
