Brookings Residents Asked Not To Mow In May

(Brookings, SD) — Brookings is taking part in a national effort to help pollinators. The city is officially launching “No Mow May” today. It’s asking residents to not mow their lawns all month long. City Council members say the goal of the ordinance is to create a welcoming environment for bees and other pollinators.
