“Call of Duty” Promotional Video Shows Faces Of Mount Rushmore Blindfolded

(Rapid City, SD) — A video game trailer stirred up confusion in the Rapid City and Black Hills area. That’s because on Wednesday, images of the faces of Mount Rushmore blindfolded were circulating on social media. KotaTV says some locals drove up to the National Monument to see if it was vandalized. However, the images came from the upcoming video game “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.” The game’s marketing team said the video was developed “to fit the themes of espionage and government conspiracy” in Black Ops games. The team even went to the Monument and worked with the parks department to get a license to stage the scene that’s shown in the trailer.
